The Sakura range of Rituals is my favourite of the Rituals collections, I really like the fresh and sweet scent of the cherry blossom and rice milk. I got the sugar scrub, body cream, shower oil and shower gel from the Sakura line for my birthday.
What Rituals says about the Sakura collection:
“The flowering of the Cherry Blossom marks an awakening of nature and symbolises that beauty is momentary and life must be enjoyed. Inspired by this tradition, The rituals of Sakura collection blends the sweetness of Cherry Blossom with nourishing Organic Rice Milk, to make each day like a new beginning.
These products are still in the ‘old’ sakura packaging. They have green blossom branches on white or transparent green packaging. I think it looks really pretty and it kind of ‘suits’ the scent. It looks fresh and flowery, that’s how I would describe the scent as well. These products came in a gift box. However, the individual products in stores have a new white and pink packaging.
The Sakura sugar scrub smells so good! I nearly would want to eat it haha! (that’s not a very good idea though). This scrub is perfect for exfoliating your body, it makes your skin feels super smooth. I was very curious for the Sakura spring foaming shower oil. In your hands it is an oily substance, but when you rub it on your (wet) skin it turns into something between shower foam and shower cream. The pump is very handy and it makes it look more luxurious, I think . The Zensation foaming shower gel comes out of the packaging as a gel, but when it becomes wet and you smudge it over your skin it becomes a very rich foam, I really like this product! You only need a tiny bit of gel and it transforms in a large amount of foam. After a shower you can use the Magic Touch ultra rich whipped body cream. This leaves your skin feeling very soft and smelling heavenly. The body cream is my favourite product, it’s creamy and soft and it smells so lovely. What I also really like about the body cream is that the scent stays on your skin for quite a while.
